Default Avro 504

Dr. Barnette does it again. He is going to have some really neat airplanes by Spring.

It's gotta be a nice feeling to fly an airplane with your own engine on it. Is that his design for the airframe?

Flawless work. Did the full size one have a Townsend cowl ring?

The Avro is a 504N which had a radial engine, Peter Rake published the prints in Flying Scale Models a few years back.
The airframe weighs 10oz less engine and radio, 36" WS, pull, pull controls, REM. I used a lot of bass wood in the building of it, it is covered with polyspan and dopedThe engine used during the building of it is a ture five cylinder radial., it will be replaced with a six cylinder radial with three dummy`s and three runners, which should have plenty of power for it
