Default lanier indicator question

hey everyeone,
my dad bought me one of these kits and it says to use a cox black widow. All I've got is a pile of surestarts, so i was wondering if a SS would have enough power for this plane?

Absolutely! It's going to be a good trainer with that, but don't use standard servos. It's excess weight. That and a 270mah nicd maximum should keep it light enough to fly well and land lightly.
