Default Possable Good Idea??

(I know this off topic but still...)

Hey everyone, I was looking at my .46 Airboat when I had a WTHN? moment. A nice lil Wasp singing on the back of a scaled down swamp buggy! I already have some ideas for it, about 20" deck with maybe a beam of about 8"

Heres a [link=http://h1071118.hobbyshopnow.com/products/description.asp?prod=DUM1505]link[/link] to the Boat I have if you would like to give it a look.

I could even drive it on a (unused) pool,

Any thoughts on this would be great.

Justin

Put a vertical fin 7 sq in on the foredeck, 100% improvement in steering.

A standard "summer 1/2A fun" toy for me and my brother when we were young, that would be somewhere in the psych era BTW, was a cheap foam flutterboard with a pylon and Babe Bee on top. Free flight airboats. Much later I built several RC versions out of the same boards which remained available for at least 20 years. A big air rudder on the back of the pylon and they would turn on a dime. I eventually worked up to a .25 on on of these and that was about as much power as you would want on one, they occasionally tried to fly at those speeds. A smaller 1/2A RC version would be neat.
