Its "Finished!"
I've finally finished my Herr T-6. It's the first r/c model that I have ever finished on my own, and first power model--so I just had to show it off. You know how it is. In any case, the trim scheme is after the reno racer "Big Red." The model is a full 4 channels, GP-07 up front, and all said 23 oz. I need to rework some aspects of it: repackage some of the radio gear and such-might even be able to shave an oz off. But the exteior should remain as is. My only regret is that I used Monokote True Red instead of Dark Red. It's gonna be some time before she flies-I need to spend a lot of time on a trainer first. Thanks for everyone's help and providing a place like this for me to gush.

It is pretty! Have flown the simple series w/ gear installed (simple mod, epoxy ply/gear sandwich into slot in wing). Flew great, BUT- watch speed and control throws; is kind of draggy, and if you get too slow it will drop a wing. the full scale one does it too! So hold off on it until you get throttle management and airspeed estimating down and you will have a ball with it!!

Thanks for the advice! Don't worry, I'm not about to rush out and try flying it. We have a good club here in town and I have a trainer so I should be able to get good instruction. I might even build a transition model if I get too worried. Thanks again!
