Glad to see you back in here Tim. I have a 5 yr old too and was very concerned about what you were going through. Oh and Pat (ptulmer) don't feel bad - I didn't know what CAE is either. Had to google it and it stands for childhood absence epilepsy.
Hope the treatments are helping her out and a speedy recovery to you as well.
Take care.
Todd

Thanks for the love guys!!!!
Bob,
I thought it was 6 DR1's but you say only 3![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
PT,
With alittle luck there won't be much of a scar! I took a 3/4" socket to my forehead a few years back and needed several stitches then and you can't even see the scar today. ...note to self do NOT use a 3/4" socket on the head of a jack to gain that extra 1/2" in height while jacking up a 67' Firebird!!!
Raymond,
You don't owe me anything you crazy SOB....by the way I have something "special" for you...look for it in another thread.
LAter,
Tim

Dang Tim! It was 6!!
Your memory is better than mine!! 3/4 socket to the fore head? That must explain the Craftsman logo branded between your eyes!
Good to see you getting back to your old self!! BTW, Did you get a chance to see some of Raymond's home movies of him flying his free flight models!
He sure looks young back there!!!
Get well and kiss your little girl for us all!!!!![Smile](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Nightstalker, I googled it and came up with "Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis". I was beginning to wonder if Tim was talking about baby goats when he said "kid".
Tim, believe it or not, my wife's sister suffered from that. It is extremely likely that she will outgrow it! At the very worst she won't be able to get a drivers license and that's pretty far-fetched. Dealing with it in the meantime it will be scary. Sorry for that. I'm sure she's far more frightened than you and that just kills you inside.

Wow! Tim, that all sucks...except the new car. I have to admit that I kinda like the charger. I hope your daughter is doing well. I have a 4 (almost 5 as she will remind you) year old and I hate to hear about someone's child having health problems because I can't help but put myself in the parent's place. Makes me sad. Hopefully things are looking up!
Don't worry too much about the scar on your head... the phrase "you can't pollish a turd" comes to mind!![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Tim:
Just read your thread. Man, I am sorry for all your woes. You have had more than your share. My prayers go out to you, your wife, and your daughter.
On a lighter note, with the new head wound, maybe you could pass it off as a reedy racing scar!?[X(]

Have any of you N. Carolina guys heard from Tim lately? I was thinking about him this morning while messing with an old Cox engine on one of my control line planes from yesteryear (actually yesterdecade or even yestermillinium
) - Man it'd look cool with a new paint job and a Wiltse special on the nose. He hasn't even logged in for awhile. Hope his Li'l'n is doing OK - and his banged up noggin is healing up alright.
Just curious

I recently received a shipment notice from his Paypal shipping acct that he was sending out an engine I had ordered. He hasn't responded personally with any emails lately, though. I hope everything is going ok as well.

Hey thanks Tee Bee - That's a good indication that he is still "Mostly Alive" if he's making and shipping engines. I kinda miss his posts on this forum - and I'll bet I'm not alone on that note.
As Tim would say "LAter"

The mailman just delivered my engine from Tim. It's very nice. There's a pic on page 2 of this thread: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6339518/tm.htm
Thanks again, Tim. I hope everything is ok for you.
