Why would he want my trophy?
Actually . . . I'm looking forward to the race. I'm hoping I'll at least get the engine started. I don't like to set my personal goals too high . . .

Dimensions are important I do agree. But mainly I'm interested on the light reflection index so that I can install the proper wattage bulb in the spotlight.
Er, that is if I can get my engine started.
But once again, thanks for sponsoring this event Bob.

Raymond, I look forward to seeing you . . . my real goal is just to be quicker than Vic. It makes the ride home with him much better knowing I was faster . . . ha, ha - seth

As usual, I'm completely unprepared. Eleven days left. This one really sneaked up on me.

Rog,
Between you and Bob (and your culinary support staff of course, Bill), you really put on a class show. Over the years we average Crewites have come to take for granted the high level of preparedness and professionalism recognized internationally as "Rog's Reedie Race".
Sophisticated people like me and most of the other regular participants appreciate all of your efforts and try to maintain a measure of decorum and good behavior comensurate with your example - and which are so important to the conduct of racing discipline.
For my own part, I try to offset the impact of those whose manners and social skills are less than . . . well, you know who I mean. And also, maybe this time there will be no entries in the dreaded "who can land closest to the host" unofficial competition.
P.S. I'm pretty sure my engine will stay with the airframe this time.

Good or bad news depending on who you are. I just found out that I have a "thing" that requires my presence on the same dang day[:@].
I've even been practicing.
So, TJ you will just have to wait till the fall race to experience true defeat. And yessir, I am scared but its about who I am scared of more than what you offer.
Single guys with spines have it made.[&:]

Vic, Vic, Vic,
When are you going to get your priorities straight?!
Remember, Rog's semi-bi-annual races are one of the rare opportunities that your average person has to get their photo made with me. Check on the 'bay for the current prices of these valuable items and you can see what a good investment they are.
In response to those above who have confessed to a state of unpreparedness, I too must face up to that reality. I am more-or-less ashamed to admit that I have not flown a glow model since the initial flights of Bob's Mako Face.
Well, why fly in the face of tradition? I'll do my final trimming the day of the race like everybody else.

I have my priorities straight, it's just the person who sets them for me that is confused.
FWIW my plane is ready to fly and has had recent practice time on it.
If Seth makes it over there you should expect to see an equally pleasent fellow (well maybe a lot more pleasent[)]).
He has a CC special model in hand too.

It's either a delta canard or you've got that guy flying laps backwards?
This is kind of cool to have an unknown dude show up with a screaming delta [8D] Better get Rog suited up like a hockey goalie.[sm=pirate.gif]

Bruce!
I am appaled! As a respected...er notorious poster and member of RCU. I would think that you as a mod would know of my truthfulness...er prowess among the rest of us "bottom feeders". Smack talk is far beneath moi. I leave that for the guys in the eastern part of the state where the breed stock is poor, and the women are not to varied either.
A free share of Ramond's Norvel stocks to the first guy who identified the little speed ball.[)]
