If I had an ASP .15, I would get down that Sig Wonder kit that's gathering dust in my garage.
I think that would be a great combo!

I've been flying a 1/12 scale Arsenal VG-33 that was built from RCM plans for several years on a TT .15. Although RCM magazine is defunct I understand the plans service is still in business. Gus Morfis does plans for a lot of small warbirds. If you are going to do a warbird go with one of the inline engine birds like a P-51, a Spitfire, or a P40. It takes a bigger engine to pull a similar blunt nosed plane around. I run a .25 on my Pica Zero. unless you get carried away with detailing the little fuselages aren't much more difficult to build than plank profile fuselage. The ME 109 was built from plans that were a Model Airplane News freebie. It was modified with a thick airfoil that didn't work out due to being too draggy and needed a bigger motor, but the standard thinner wing should be just fine. Both were easy strait forward planes to build. I didn't get a picture of the Morfis P-40 before I sold it to a buddy of mine.

.....another route to take, look at the RC combat SSC ships. They fly great and are rugged. The Treneff RC BattleAxe is a good one.
