RE: Kombat Kid Flying Wing Build
Here's another one of those tools that I couldn't do without... it's just a 1" W x 48" L x 1/8" T strip of aluminum (from Lowes / Home Depot) with 100 grit sandpaper glued on. A light misting of 3M Super 77 holds the sandpaper in place, and allows it to be changed easily as needed. For doing stuff like shaping leading and trailing edges, I'll clamp it to the bench and pass the wing over it. Also works for beveling control surfaces or any other long, straight sanding jobs.

SO, what ever happened to this??

I've been enjoying the heck out of my two (one with a Cox T.D. .049 and one with about 70W of e-Power). They both fly great, but there just wasn't enough interest to warrant ordering up the laser cut parts.
I posted a full size .PDF of the plans to one of the threads here, complete with the rib patterns....

Oh darn! I was totally interested in the kits! Do you have the plans to be printed on regular paper? I'd love to build a couple for my buddy and i.

RE: Kombat Kid Flying Wing Build
I'm reposting the full size plans here 'cause I couldn't find the thread that I originally posted them to (if I did at all).
I don't have a way to tile the plans, but I know people have used a program called Tile Print or something along those lines to do what you're looking for. If you have a Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, or something similar in your area, they should be able to print the PDF full size for you. Heck, the only thing you really need is the rib pattern (which I've included as well) and the rest can be totally made up as you go!
Do keep us posted, OK?

One of the guys at Rochester Modelers Club in Rochester , NH. has been flying one of these and is tearing up the sky. He must have a 1 oz. tank in it. Full bore .049 till he runs out of fuel. Now I want to build one. Thanks for posting your plans.
Keep flying,

Hey Andrew! I've been, ummm, well, uhhhh, on a bit of a RC hiatus - I hate to admit it, but I've only been out flying like 3-4 times this year thanks to a renewed interest in a few other hobbies. No worries, I tend to jump around like that...

Well since we can`t get kits, ( and I cut ribs like hellen keller with cerebral palsey ) Maybe I will just get 2 ladybug short kits and use the ribs to make up something like this.
Or maybe dig up a foam wing somewhere and cut out for the engine box , survo etc.
An ace pocket rocket wing looks like a real candidate actually, tapered chord and all
