Just got this Harbor Freight flyer in today's mail. Thought we should be aware of what's out there. The text states, 'this plane self-pilots to fly in circular patterns', so it must have an autopilot? Also states that 'it charges in just minutes', although the large print proclaims that it 'CHARGES IN JUST 15 SECONDS!'. But it does include a spare prop and a charger.
Look out Matchless, put floats on this sucker and your Mudbug has some real completion! And all for just $6.99…….

PS I shouldn't joke, I've RC'ed those Wallyworld styrofoam gliders with a cox 09 and had lots of laughs.

A bunch of us have converted the FF plane to electric power and RFFS control system. Some have even converted it using conventional micro gear, but those get heavy pretty quick. It actually does fly pretty well with A/E/T. I slope soared mine over a row of trees in the front yard. I think a .010 would rip the wings off it, though...
