Default RE: OUTBOARD MONOHULL

ORIGINAL: mickieb49

Thanks guy's, as i expected, i had seen one outboard on a mono a while ago and as you said it had the cog in the wrong place.
I was trying to correct this by making the hull 860mm long , it seems a little excessive for a brushless outboard but it may also help to reduce the weight i need in the nose, i have also added a flat area near the transom going up nearly 2/3 the length of the hull to create a ride pad.
I am also going to experiment with power trim???/ I know this has also been tried in the past but it all can help.
Just wondering on where it will be best for the COG , 35% , 30% ??????
Cheers
actually there are many outboard mono's out there
they work awesome, and the cg is easy to get right
30% makes for a faster boat, but it depends on the hull
