I covered the rudder this evening using my (clothes) iron - smaller covering iron is in the post. [img][/img]

The transparent white seems quite... erm... grey and nondescript but I think it'll be ok when its all covered with orange up front and orange trim lines. I think I'll use the LT-25 decals on the fin too. I used 'Balsaloc' on the wood first and it does help I think to grip the covering when you stick some heat on it.

It's not the neatest but it could have gone a lot worse! I'll tackle the fin next - should I do it in one piece (wraparound) or in two pieces?
