From what is written on the internet (so it must all be true) they've had various problems with the ARF manufacturer. Quality issues, cash flow, etc; and supposedly they do not know IF they will ever have any more ARFs.
There has been a lot written about the wind turbine companies buying up the balsa supply for their blades, making it hard for the kit companies to get good wood at a good price.
Another rumor is that Mrs Sig sold the company and the new owners are not doing very well.
I hope a lot of it is just rumor.
