Default RE: Berkeley Sea Cat

I've been flying my "cat" for 40+ yrs. It is fun and very easy to fly. With an old OSMax .30 it is way over powered, but needs the power to ROW. Also found a 3-bladed prop helps with spray from the nose. Also found flying it with the wing floats and wheels adds a huge amount sof drag, looks cool but you got to keep the power up.
I've flow her from water, snow and grass. Always fun to do touch and go's from a smooth lake. Just go to keep an eye on the gas, as it is always a long swim to go get it when you run out. It's just a fun old model...........
