I always get a kick out of people who want to change just for the sake of change.
"Yeah never had a problem with my gear but I am thinking of selling it and getting the other brand - just because I hear its better".
In the engineering world I typically get a good laugh out of people who subscribe to that philosophy. It has zero basis and always ends up with a caveat that comes back to rear its ugly head. But to each his own.
Futaba's FASST is simply channel hopping DSSS. It's incrementally better than JR (technology wise) and only will lock you out with a highly improbable event which would be uncovered with a simple range check. I know chicken little only has to be right once, but I wouldnt bet money on it happening in the wild.
