I regret that I have no JR experience to contribute.

But fwiw to anyone else reading the thread and wondering if Futaba is better, I got a similarly useless answer regarding the wireless trng setup of my 14mz....but at least I do now have the specced 7 channels with trim, (no thanks to their customer svc)
