RE: DES707 Servo??
We are a few in Norway that has been using them for the last two years. Guessing about 50-100 servos.
It seems to good be true, but isn't. No issues so far...
It is very slop-free and has has a low buzzing sound under load.
Tested it with an amp meter and under max load (thumb on servo horn) it had about half the current draw compared to a 7955 TG despite the 707 having better holding power in real life...
I have found nothing that seperates this servo from others costing 4-5 times more. The holding power is outstanding. Great flap and rudder servo.
If had to say something negative about it, it has to be that it is not the fastest servo around, but in most jets, you don't need the speed anyway...
I have about 20 of them lying around for future projects. Just mounted the 707 on the rudder, flaps and nosewheel on my new CARF Tutor.
