Thanks Carlos. Indeed, the manuever was an unwise move on my part. I had read about others having wing failure, and had intended to reinforce the wing with some good tape, but alas, neglected to do it and paid the price when I got overzealous. Live and learn, that's why I fly foam models, hahaha. The next one, along with my T-28 and Super Cub, will get some wing reinforcement.
