I've seen people make a bracket out of metal or spare circuit board fiberglass to adapt a 9g servo to the Pro tail.
No reason a good 9g servo can't handle a Pro tail. Just won't hold as well as a mini servo. My Jr 290 though holds well for a 9g servo. Pro has the weighted tail so that takes som eof the load off.
