Exactly!!
I have no idea why people continue to miss the point. The best way to make an aerobatic plane perform better is to be light. This is especially true with 3d and funfly.

If the plane has more power than weight then why add a larger heavier engine?

If it needs a little more thrust then try a different prop or add more nitro to your fuel.

If you need to cut down on weight then buy lightweight servos and reciever. I saved over 4 oz with lighter high performance servos, reciever, and a 6v NIMH battery.

Light weight + tons of thrust = crazy mad flyin
