I doubled checked the set-up by putting the Flash on the trainer.

Transfer your model from the master to the trainee's transmitter (using two 9303s)

Make sure the trainees transmitter is in ppm mode (I used a 72 mg tx for the trainer, 2.4 for the master))

Set BOTH of the trainer systems to ''MASTER'' ( I also set the slave / master bars to MAST on both)

Turn on the master transmitter, plug in the dsc/trainer cord, plug the other end of the cord into the slave transmitter ( do not turn on)

All controls, switches, trims should work. If they don't, double check your transfer.

Thanks loads Doug. As I stated before I did the Master to Master transfer but used my 12X as the trainer. I had limited success. Trims but no gear or flaps. Non of us are Electronics whizzes but do you suppose that "make sure the trainees transmitter is in the PPM mode" is a factor when the trainees Tx is a dedicated 2.4 with no option for PPM? I can't imagine that it is since it's powered off.
