The cut on the piston doesn't look completely like the book to me?

I remember there being a squish band cut around the perimeter with this being blended in a dome radius back to the center. i guess there are many ways to do it?

The skirt on the exhaust side is critical because of sub piston induction possibilities because the cylinder base or the case top surface was cut?

The skirt on the intake side controls the timing/duration of the intake port from the carb

As a result all the timing intervals need to be rechecked? Seems like we talked about all this on the other engine?

The book?

You tell me I am only guessing on these mods. I am still new to all of this. I am sure the things you are saying are correct seems from what I have read....

Ihaven't checked the timing on this motor yet I plan to.
This is the first time I have had it apart since I purchased it.
I will post my findings as soon as I have some numbers.

I was hoping to use this motor as a sort of guide to help me with my stock motor I plan to mod.

I have started the motor once and everything seemed to run fine I only had it running a very short time though....
