I dont recommend aluminum arms. They dont flex like the plastic does and that will transfer the stress to something else that could be more expensive to replace.
The stock tires are good on pavement but they are terrible on dirt. The truck just slides around. If you are running on a track alot try to get some pin type tires.
For the breaks you can do the ofna throttle mod and get a stronger servo. That will definitely improve stopping.
