I am doing the same thing right now. I was up until 03:00 trying to have my own sounds played. I added the sound files to the folder and then modified the ini file. Instead of an MG sound I wanted a voice. All the other sounds work fine but when I press the MG button all I get is silence. This tells me I edited the correct ini file, but for some reason my sound must be in the wrong format or something. I recorded it as a 22 Khz wave file. El mod says it need to be an 8 bit file, and this is where I am stumped. I can't find anything on my sound software that identifies this.

So yes I need some help here too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
