RE: USMC Sherman
Every tank needs maintenance, and the beauty of the Tamiya tanks is they are robust enough to allow overhauls when new parts are available or so much abuse occurs the vehicle is finally out of commission. My USMC Sherman is in need of such and over-haul and I am happy to continue this build thread for the FIFTH YEAR!
"Snake Eyes" is an M4A2 equipped with fording stacks, a bow mounted flame thrower, grenade screens, water tank for troops, and custom stowage. Recently I added Tamiya KV-1 electronics to give it recoil and a diesel engine sound. Now it will get all the appropriate toys, bells and whistles and VVSS suspension.
I started by doing a walk around to assess the damage. Elevation is jammed, traverse sticks in the 11 o'clock position, foldable stacks were damaged by rookies and kids, and cosmetically, it is still innacurate.<br type="_moz" />
