RE: ELMOD GUYS IN HERE PLEASE
Go over the stuff that WSN provided. All the info is there that you need. Trust me I am not a natural at this kind of stuff either, but I was able to get some results by following WSN's guide. When you get the file to Audiocity, you must change the sample rate to 22Khz, format the sound over to mono, and then export as an 8 bit file into the sound set you are working on. All of this stuff is done with mouse clicks on the menu bar. Once you have it in a EL MOD sound file set you should rename as per their instructions, You then have to go into the Blaster INI file located in that sound set, and edit it to play the files you have added.
If you are changing the hit sound, you edit that line in the inifile. You remove the Hit_1.wav and replace it with your file name of what you want to hear instead.
Trust me this is the biggest drawback to El MOD, and I have shied away form using mine to its fullest potential until yesterday. Now that I understand how it works, I am really impressed with what you can do with it.
If nothing else email me the files, and I will do the editing for you. We are in the middle of a plant turnaround, and I am very busy, but if you are patient with me I will do this for you if you are stuck.
