I couldnt agree more, I have an Irvine 36 on mine and it flies excellent with it. But just check the Great Planes site and see , they have the 55 listed as a recommended engine!!
Usually if you go that route the tail planes flutter and relocate ending in a pile of sticks. Epades dont like speed unless you reinforce the tail. It has been known to happen with just a 46 on it.
