i think you'll be fine with the ailerons unless you really are into super fine aerobatics. and if you are, then this is way too small a model anyway. i flew with the recommended aileron setup many many times without any issue on my WM Ultimate 30 (pretty much the same size as this one). one thing, the 46 is way too much engine so be gentle. i had a 32sx with a slimline pitts muffler and it was already a rocket. i can't imagine how much more power the 46 will bring to that airframe.
also, get the CG right. i'd recommend that you be a bit more conservative the first flight. my first flight i put the CG too far back and at half throttle my plane was climbing in all orientations, i mean it was climbing inverted AND knife-edge. made for a very interesting first flight. once back on the tarmac i put more weight up front and balanced her at the very front of the recommended CG and she flew wonderfully. would come in nice and flat and slow with the lightest of flares into beautiful landings. you can see my WM Ultimate in my hanger. good luck!
