RE: Wyotech v.s. UTI?
I got some Snap On tools for half price, about $500.00 worth but no toolbox other than what I have already. I'm working at a small engine repair shop but I was there before I went to school so the only thing that changed was the amount of money I now owe. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I guess.
One thing to remember about these schools is that you get a very basic education. Enough to get a foot in the door at a shop somewhere but don't expect to be the man and know it all when you're done with school. Sweeping the floors and taking out the trash will be a part of your new job till you get some real world experience. I've been working on motorcycles for 25 years already for myself and friends but decided to get some paper (diploma) backing up what I say I can do and life happened and things changed while I was in school.
