For the most part the Traxxas 2.5 out of the picture when the 3.3 was introduced a number of years ago. The 3.3 is a bored out 2.5. There are videos of the 3.3 diesel in a Revo on you tube as well as our site. As for the heavy duty rods that we make for both 2.5/3.3 are needed for glow or diesel as the factory rod has no upper bushing and is in very weak.
