Default RE: Thundertiger Engines

ORIGINAL: bigedmustafa

If I could only fly one brand of engine, I'd fly Thunder Tiger.

I do joke that I like to use Enya engines for situations where Thunder Tigers just aren't pricey enough...
My experience with TT is very limited. I just recently started flying a .40 which is the engine for Club .40 racing. It is about as user-friendly as can be. EXCELLENT!

Now get 'em while you can. Hobbico is the new TT distributor. The TT Pro .40 jumped from 89.99 to $149.99 for a week on the Tower website. Then it came back to 99.99 on the web. The latest Tower Talk still has the 89.99 price tag with "prices good to Oct. 31." However via telephone they will not honor the 89.99 and would not discuss the sudden jump to $149.99 then back to 99.99.

I ordered a couple more at 99.99 since they are so easy to operate. I will never ever pay OS prices for .40 range engines. There are far too many options. [sm=devious.gif]
