Not much time! I covered the wing this weekend - total weight is 480g. The oracover/ultracoat is really easy to use - I thoroughly recommend it.

The wing is much stronger now with the covering in tension, and easier to handle without turning to matchwood.

Update: the rudder is now hinged (sweat!) but the other control surfaces are still held on with sticky labels. Engine bay is fuel-proofed and I don't think I will bother with orange paint.
