Well then thats a bummer.. What is the difference between model diesel and a diesle fuel called JP-8 it is a keresene base fuel. Would you be able to explain to me the research/steps/modifications that I would have to possibly take to get this car to run on it?
Model diesel fuel contains kerosene distilled at 150C to 275C , di-ethyl ether and a lubricating oil like castor.
Road going diesels fuel is petroleum diesel distilled between 200C to 350C, so kero has a lower boiling point and evaporates at a lower flash point as well.
Combining the kero with the ether allows compression ignition engines in models to run far lower compression ratios than their road going counter parts.
Basically thats it I hope!
