I have just completed the HK450GT build with the same gyro (HK401B). I have a tail creep to the left, and haven't been able to correct it other than putting a bit of trim on the transmitter. Not certain how much control you will have to adjust speed, pitch curve and other with the transmitter you have selected from HK.

Good luck. I am almost finished my HK500GT. Impressive size compared to the 450... I won't hover that one indoors.
