Ah, lots to think about. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Much better to sort these things out at the planning stage. My criteria for a trainer is kit form, electric power, ailerons and an easy flyer. My preferance is for a taildragger but I'd be okay with a trike. Will reconsider that before I purchase.
