Syco - that thing is scary looking. I bought a few of the same batteries off ebay a few months ago. They aren't rated like they say - they buy old stock of low capacity batteries and put a new wrapping on them and say they are 3800 to 5000 mAh. Did you check the coulomb count when you charged them?

I have since bought a thunderpower lipo to replace them. Just when I trust chinese crap I get burned again.
Had one before it would charge to between 5100-5200 mah. It was way more reliable than the Venom NiMh batteries I've owned and paid 2X more for(where you were lucky to get 70% of the rate amperage)
it took it like 10-15 cycles though to hit that due to false peaking.

That particular battery I bought it for my 1/16 RC tank. The tanks electronics don't have a voltage regulator anywhere near the quality of car/truck ESC's seeing they were only made to run on 7.2v-7.6ish volts, so the initial 8.4v's would fry it(hell my lipo when it was half dead at 7.6V was causing some overheating in the tank).
So I just slapped it on as a test to make sure the car/truck/rally/thing would move, seeing the only junk ESC I had laying around at the time had a tamiya plug on it, and so did the battery(which just came).

Side note I own 5 lipos(Turnigy from china) (and ordered 2 more for my 1/16th revo)

The chinese stuff is ok as long as you know what to expect. Like a 14V 15a power supply I got from china I had to pop open and rewire the fan to always on cause the temperature gauge never would kick in and it would over heat. After I did the quick rewire it works flawlessly.

But enough of that Gotta take that thing to my LHS Tuesday(or Wednesday unless I get lucky tuesday) for turnbuckles so I can get the steering centered, and maybe pick it up a body. I'm tempted to get the savage charger and make the general lee
