Been a while without an update. Basically all the repairs are finished except for the fuel tank and line setup. I got started on the covering using rolls of flat olive drab and gray Monokote left over from other projects. I decided not to post all the covering details since there are already good instructions here on RCUniverse:

Here are a couple pictures of the top and bottom of the wing. I did spring for some stars & bars decals. They were just a few bucks. I just noticed a wrinkle in one of them in the picture; stuff happens. I am scrambling to get this airplane finished in time for the club swap meet this Sunday.

My new project also arrived tonight. it's a Top-Flite giant scale P-47 ready-to-cover. Should be fun.
