Yes, I agree that this would be very handy and useful, and that's why I started a movement last year to develop such a DB. Cliff at RC FAQ has taken over the collection of data and has "threatened" to get the DB built and published, but he is very busy and hasn't gotten it online yet.

On the RC FAQ home page (www.rcfaq.com) there is a link to submit numbers to add to the DB. Everyone that is interested in this info, please write Cliff and encourage him to get it published.

Everyone that has an engine they can weigh and submit actual numbers, please do. The DB is setup to gather the bare engine weight, mount weight(if separate), muffler weight(and brand), ignition weight(and brand), and total weight with all of these components.
