Awesome, thanks for the advice. And I'm always willing to listen. I've had help just to get as far as I am, from my friends dad who's just getting into 3d himself but has been flying for 40 years so he knows quite a bit. Especially when it comes to gas/glow engines and huge hand built scale models.
I realize electric is a whole different ball game and can even be more expensive from the sounds of it.
So, I ordered a 1000 kv brushless (equivelant to park 400) and two 3s 1300mah lipos. Is this a good combo?
Also some 9g servos and a 30 amp esc. (I realize thats more than necessary, I did it so when I scale up I already have the esc)
All from valuehobby. Now looking at grayson and a couple others, I may pick up some stuff from there too.

So, how do you think the above combo will work? OK i hope
