Default RE: Great Planes Seawind

Mark,

You have ventured out of my area of research with your question. Most of my research has been to outfit my big seawind, 9+ lbs, or small electrics, , < 2 lbs. But I will try to help. What is the largest prop that you can swing on the airframe? Are you willing to use a 3 blade prop? What kind of performance do you want scale, fast, 3-d? Will this be your first electric?

The reason for my questions is that a cursory look at the reviews of some of the motors available from Hobby King appear to have quality issues. Given that, you might want to go to a higher quality motor such as a Scorpion or Hyperion.
