Default RE: Baby Extra 260 4 stroke

I own a WH Baby Edge powered with an MLD-28, a 1/4 scale RV-4 with a Saito 125 on the nose and previously owned an OS-200FS that was on the same Baby edge. I have also flown side by side with a guy who has the DLE-30 on the WH Baby Extra. I have measured prop RPMs with similar props on all and I can tell you the DLE is strongest followed closely by my 28. The OS-200 is in the same ballpark as the 28 (maybe a bit more torque/happier with slightly bigger/higher pitch props) while the Saito 125 is significantly less powerful than either. I am sure I would not be happy with performance of the airplane with the 125 on it. I can't imagine getting through an IMAC basic pattern with that combo and certainly no hovering or the like. My RV-4 and my Baby Edge weigh in within ounces of each other (granted totally different airplanes) with the RV being less than half a pound (probably 4-6 ounces) heavier. It can loop and roll and do beautiful hammers but is will not climb straight up forever like the Edge will with the 200 or the 28. Hope this helps set your expectations properly.
