I spent the whole night eyeing the EXI 450 frame currently on sales for $29-ish at xheli.com. And the gyro is only 12 bucks!!! And the whole metal head and tail assemblies are only 29 bucks!!!
Go on Nick.. Just buy one.. the $29 Heli is great.. I fly it exactly as it came from the box.. No need to upgrade it to a metal head at all.. mine now just clocked over 80 flights and is solid as a rock..
Of course if you do want the metal head, just get the hobbyking 450 GT... its cheaper than buying the exi and the upgrades...
Go on.. just buy it and build it slowly.....
I wish I'd gotten a trex clone instead of a Blade 120. The 120 is pretty nice, but overpriced compared to a rex clone. I have an HK600GT kit on the way. HK's prices are sick.
