ORIGINAL: A.T.
ORIGINAL: Prop_Washer2 I just have a 6 volt NiMh pack as a second pack with a Hitec connector on it. Do I still need the SPC cable or just plug it in, the manual is not too clear...Thanks Alan...
Negative. Whilst a battery may be plugged direct into the SPC socket <span style=''font-size: smaller''>
or use a short extension lead as a ''plug'', </span>recommend a switch lead be used, preferably heavy duty (anti vibration) such as
54407S Hitec Swicth Harness HD JR/Airtronics if for GP or Heli.
Reminder, any battery plugged only into SPC port powers the receiver and provides no power/backup to the servos nor telemetry of what is happening on the servo power bus.

Alan T.
Thanks Alan, I think I got it. I have a 5-cell NiMh plugged through a switch to BATT input of the Receiver, and I can isolate the current draw of the servos and assign that current draw to an 2nd 5 cell NiMh pack connected to the SPC port through a second switch...
Am I close..??
