I have not heard of a disclaimer, but can understand if it is a pre production kit, I know Steve told me that YT wanted them to check over the complete kit for any potential problems and they were going to write the build instructions at the same time.

I know from personally writing three Build manuals for fullsize aircraft kits that there are always little things that need changing on the first batch of kits so if you want one now you have to be prepared to except some responsibility or just wait!
