Default RE: CMP BF109F BUILDING THREAD

ORIGINAL: messer

I am currently building the CMP BF-109. The instuction manual is poor and gives no guidance on electronic gear to install in the plane. Does anyone know what servos should be used in plane? Type, size, etc.
Standard size servos are fine. JR ds-821's are what i put in. I used two servos for the elevator...one per side and ran independant pushrods(4-40) thru the carbon tubes supplied with the kit. The carbon tubes were simply used as guide tubes instead of th actual pushrod. For the rudder....I used a high torque HS 5645MG(metal gear).
