For the fuse I like ply up front, from the wing saddle forward laminate ply to balsa. All balsa aft of the CG.
I like the root and tip ribs to be ply and the intermediate ribs balsa. Keeps the wing light yet strong. 2 piece wings are a must on large planes for ease of transport, even getting them out of the house can be a pain with a full wing. I had a clipped wing Cub with a 86" span and it was a pain to transport. Almost shut it in the door a couple of times.
Alot of guys do not know where to start on installing a gas engine, a nice tutorial showing the installation of engine/ignition and fuel system would help the guys new to gas planes.

I know I was intimidated by going to gas but now I will never go back to glow.
