Seems to me you could buy a set of each and decide for your self. Stock plastic tracks are not that expensive and an actual track in front of you will give you a much better idea of what you are looking for. The width is easy, but every one of these models have different lengths, and the only true way to measure them is to take them off the tank to do it. And some tanks need more links than others even being the same model tank. One will run with X number of links on one side of the tank and need one more or one less on the other. QC plays a big part of the fit of the tracks. This is not meant to be some type of smart ***** answer but it will be the most helpful way to do it.
In addition to Pnthr G's response, there is also quite a variation in the sprocket tooth width and pitch ,so engagement with the receiver cutouts on a specific track may not be compatible with a specific sprocket. this can vary between types of track and different manufacturers and scale of the track/sprockets. What are your requirements?
