i want somthing near 1/8 scale and the stampede just doesint fit the bill

Maxx wheels wont fit on a slash 4x4 unless you get axle extenders or a conversion plus depends on the hex size. As for wanting to turn the slash 4x4 into a mt-i would just buy a stampede 4x4-granted it is shorter and less stable then a slash 4x4 but would be much better for bashing. If racing then go for the slash 4x4.
