In my Caravan I put down a plastic tarp. On top of that goes some of those cheap Harbor Freight moving blankets. A spill gets absorbed by the blankets and they are easy to hang out to dry. At the end of the flying season the blankets get replaced and the tarp goes into storage for next year.
