RE: Sebart Wind 110
I have about 40 flights in total over the last 11 months. The magnets in my 2nd Scorpion S4035-250 motor came loose after the 2nd flight yesterday. The first one was having the same problem after about 20 flights.
I have been very conscious in using the 2nd one after the failure of the first one. I even changed i to ceramic bearings before I mounted it to the plane. I checked the temperature of the motor after each flight (never higher than 125 degree F).
The motor was swinging a 17x10 Turnigy electric prop with 10s 5000mAh Turnigy lipo battery, 100A HV Turnigy Sentilion speed control. My watt meter shows 63A in full throttle on ground test. Most of my flight time would be in ¾ throttle.
Joe seems using the S4035-210 with no problem. I will ask Lucien of Innov8tive if he can send me a 210kv when I send it back for repair.
