Default RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Well John I was very close on your RTF weight for Wind 110 and I must say I am surprised about about your RTF weight for Wind 50! My presumption came from the info on Sebart site where Wind 50 is declared 2300g + bats and so far info on the site was very precise. You are using slightly heavier batteries than you really need (6S 3700mAh would be more than enough) but that is only some 120g extra.</p>

Still 500g is a lot and I must say that so far motocalc has been very good in comparing setups especially if you know the real life numbers for a certain setup. As I have already said I had owned A5016S on 6S and 16x10 and if I remember correctly it was 7100rpm and 56A with 6S Rhino 3700 25C. Also the flying weight of Angel was 2850g, and that setup was very, very good.

Well, if Wind 50 is that much heavier than Angel in that case A5012S or 4025-10 with 16x10 is the only way to go for 5S setup.

edit:

Just weighted my MsWind 50 and it is RTF 3065g : Hacker A5012S, Hacker 70A SB ESC, 5S Rhino 4900mAh with 5,5mm bullet connectors, 16x10 Turnigy LE, larger wheel spats and 70mm wheels, Sullivan rear wheel, pilot figure and stickers which is absolutely in line with Sebart specification! Also according to Sebart site MsWind 50 is 100-200g heavier than Wind 50 so your RTF for Wind50 is really strange! Can also someone else please post their RTF?
